believe me i was laughing the entire time i was writing it. So if Riven comes in as Valtor i don't think Musa will be surprised.
Musa: You know you didn't have to keep the cape.
Riven: Shh...I am Valtor.

(ooc: Finally getting off my lazy butt and doing this! My verison of Sinbad going crazy! which is what i really want to happen! There are three parts to it. That i am too lazy to write the whole thing out right now. So yeah, here's part one. Before i begin, there is something i was going to have in mind but was too lazy to add it in. During the agents getting captured and several agents going to rescue them, Proteus captured Wilbur and despite Sinbad's objections, he stabbed him through the chest nearly killing him. This is where the incident comes from and several of the italic quotes. Including, 'your friend is lost. He's not your friend anymore.)
Escape The Pain
“Sinbad, why do you keep trying so hard?”
It was a voice Sinbad didn’t want to hear anymore. He had heard it way too many times to count. They were enemies, they worked on the opposites. She hated him. Why was she in his dreams?
“Eris, this isn’t funny.” Sinbad yelled into the darkness. “Come out!”
“My my, temper, temper.” The goddess of chaos laughed. “I guess Proteus really did piss you off.”
“Anyone who hurts my agents pisses me off.” Sinbad growled. He was getting sick of her games. It wasn’t fair that she was making him suffer like this.
“Oh but it wasn’t just any agent he nearly killed. It was the boy you promised to protect wasn’t it Sinbad?”
Clenching his fist tightly, he closed his eyes trying to escape her voice. It would never leave, and neither would that horrible vision of the incident. That look of horror on his face. The look on his best friend’s face that didn’t seem to care that he had almost killed a child.
“You aren’t a very good agent if you can’t even protect one of your own.” Eris said.
Sinbad opened his eyes again, the black area had been replaced by mirrors. Reflections stared back at him. It was scary but the ex-thief decided to ignore it. This was just another one of Eris’s games.
“Of course you couldn’t even save your best friend.”
“Shut up.” He growled through gritted teeth.
“Why you know very well that it’s true Sinbad. Your own best friend hates you.” Eris said appearing before him. “He wants you dead.”
How can you even exsist?
Even your family didn’t want you!
Just die!
Sinbad didn’t want to believe her. It was a lie. All of it. Yet, Proteus had said those words to him. It couldn’t be true. However, Proteus hadn’t seemed to have changed from when Eris had gotten a hold of him. Nothing had changed. If that was true, then why.
“There is a way to defeat him Sinbad.” Eris replied.
“Why would I listen to you?” Sinbad growled. “Last time I did I almost got my head cut off. Besides you are the one who did this to Proteus.”
Eris looked amused by that fact before disappearing again. “Actually, no. Your friend wanted to become stronger, I gave him an answer. So far it seems to have worked.” She touched his shoulder with a smile. “Would you like to know what I told him?”
Sinbad actually didn’t want to hear anything that Eris had to say but he knew she would tell him anyways. He gave a short nod before turning away.
“It’s easy, I told him to forget everything that made him weak. Cut off all relations to his friends and family. Throw away all the memories he had.” Eris said. “It was so easy. Anything to protect his kingdom, that boy practically threw away his soul for me.”
He flinched. Was it that easy? “That’s what you have to do to beat him Sinbad. Play his own game. Throw it all away.”
Glancing back at him, the mirrors no longer showed his reflection but distant memories. All of them, the horrible ones, the good ones. Even ones of him as a little kid.
“How will this make me stronger?” Sinbad asked.
The goddess grinned. “By erasing all of this, you will no longer be able to feel pain. Wouldn’t you like that Sinbad? To not feel pain?”
Sinbad flinched again, the idea of forgetting all of it seemed too dark and horrible. He would never be able to remember any of it. Marina, anything. It wouldn’t be the same. He wouldn’t do it. He couldn’t.
“Sorry but I’ll pass.”
The goddess shrugged. “Well if you change your mind, it’s easy.” She replied before laughing. “See you later Sinbad.” She grabbed his neck tightly almost ready to kill him. “Don’t die on me. I want the honors of doing it myself.”
Gasping for breath, Sinbad rose from his bed. Rubbing his neck, he could feel the marks of where Eris had placed her hands. It was a dark feeling and he wanted to forget it.
Naveen had trusted him, him to either make Proteus see reason or to kill him. The problem was, this was his best friend. How could he kill his own best friend?
You will be able to be on the same level as him Sinbad.
This is no longer your friend.
Your best friend is lost. He’s not human anymore.
Sinbad turned away trying to get those thoughts out of his head. All those words, Eris’s, Naveen’s, Marina’s. He knew that he had to protect the others, several agents had already been injured thanks to Proteus.
He would have to be on Proteus’s level. The only problem was, that meant destroying everything he needed. Everything he cared about. Could he really destroy his own mind?
Play his game Sinbad.
Throw it all away.
Forget everything.
Wouldn’t you like that Sinbad?
To not feel the pain?
----To be continued
