(ooc: december 12th, open to all agents. It's a training thread. but clients can come in and watch if they wanted to but its mainly for agents)
Sinbad stretched as he finished the last opponent off and the holograms disappeared. The room appeared back to normal, it was a strange way of training but it was effective. Tecna was pretty smart. "Nice job Sinbad." the purple haired girl said from up in the control room.
Sinbad waved the comment away. He needed to keep going, and if he had to, he would train all night. The pixie or fairy or whatever she was, had explained that the training consisted of levels one through twenty or more, the higher the level the tougher it got. He turned to tell Tecna to bring on the next level when he heard footsteps coming

Step. Clink. Step. Clink. Step. Clink.
Hiccup didn't do much to make his appearance go unnoticed as he stepped into the training room. He honestly thought that he would need all the practice he could get at being an agent, especially since he hadn't come of his own accord in the first place, so that he might not be entirely useless when it came time to go on a mission. Emerald eyes shifted from the floor and landed on Sinbad after just a moment. Hiccup immediately felt like he was going to be the odd one out in this training session, especially with the fact that Sinbad was a higher up agent and he was just a rookie. The redheaded Viking turned his gaze away and tried to appear casual. Really, though, he was probably making himself look more foolish.
"Is this the place where we're supposed to be training? I got turned upside down so many times trying to find it that I thought I might have to ask Naveen for a map." Hiccup remarked. In all seriousness, Hiccup had succeeded at getting himself lost more times than he could count in that single morning. It was humiliating.

(ooc: This totally reminds me of the danger room from the x-men series. xd)
Layla walked in already transformed into a fairy. This would be her first training session. She didn't want to mess up but she wanted to make herself better at the same time. One mistake in here was okay but out there on the field could be fatal. Layla saw Techna monitoring them from above and saw Sinbad and Wilbur were the only ones in the room. She heard his question and assumed it was the right place.
"It looks like the right place. So how does this room work? Could we get hurt in here?"asked Layla.

Sinbad nodded at both newcomers. "This is the place." he replied. "You can pretty much come in at anytime and train if you want." he replied. "Though for the most part you can train without the lasers or robots that i was using." he said.
"You can't get hurt unless i turn on the training simulation." Tecna answered. "Though for beginners it is normally starts at level one and then if you feel like you get another level then i would gladly do so." she replied. "But today, no simulations. Just training on the basics if needed. Unless you all want to give the simulation a try."

The entire explanation of the simulations went over Hiccup's head. He didn't pretend to understand the technological advancements of the agency and instead tried to roll with it. That had worked out... okay so far. He hadn't gotten incredibly confused by anything at that moment, but that had lasted a short while. "Simu-wha? Lasers? Wha?" Hiccup had barely been in the training room a few minutes and already his head was starting to hurt. This was insane! "...Okay, could we just stick with something not complicated? I'd prefer not to have a headache by the end of this." he stated.
It's not fun unless you come out with a scar or two.
Astrid's words rang in Hiccup's mind, causing a smile to briefly form on his face. He didn't think the words rang true, but it would be funny if someone said something like that at that moment. "Pain. Love it." he whispered.

Sinbad smirked and gave a tiny shake of the head. "Prehaps we should just stick with the basics Tecna and then anyone who wants to try to the simula-whatever it's called can." he replied. The fairy nodded shortly.
Sinbad turned to leave. "Well, i'm out." he replied, only to be pulled back by the fairy.
"Oh no, your job is to help me teach them." Techna said. Sinbad frowned. "but i don't wanna!" he whined.

Hiccup couldn't help but smirk as Sinbad whined. It appeared as though the big tough top agent didn't want to hang out with the newbies. Understandable, really, since Hiccup really was a dweeb and probably wouldn't last all that long as an agent. Regardless, Hiccup couldn't resist the urge to say something on the matter at hand. "Oh, come on. You want us to get better at this, don't you? I mean, we can't stay rookies forever. The only way we're going to learn anything is to have someone teach us." Hiccup said.
The more teaching, the better. He added silently. No way would he say that much out loud. Hiccup knew he was pitiful. He didn't need the rest of the agency knowing that much. Then again... his prosthetic had probably given away some of his pitifulness. Maybe. Hiccup didn't know that much for sure.

Astrid edged her way into the room, she'd heard training was going on, and she wanted in. She wanted to see what odd technology this place had, it was all far from the axes and swords and other primal weapons the Vikings used. She still loved her axe, hell she wouldn't trade it for anything else, she jut needed a way to train with it. Blue eyes wandered over those that were in the room, her eyes latching on to Hiccup. It wasn't the shock that he was here that startled her, he'd been sent here first anyway, she'd never thought about the teen actually throwing himself voluntarily into this kind of training. Than again Hiccup needed some training without Toothless... The blonde walked closer to the two guys that were talking, discussing training. She'd expected a bit more, the place looked relatively normal. But looks could be deceiving, she'd initially thought dragons were focused on attacking the vikings, yet there was the Green Death that controlled them. Astrid's axe trailed loosely behind her. Like she'd proven countless times- this was her favorite weapon. She gave a small wave to the group of assembled agents. "Hey, this is the training... place right?" Her eyes turned to Hiccup, he looked unharmed, a blessing from the gods with Hiccup's luck. Her eyes took in all the features of the room, somewhat plain, nothing too bad. Her eyes though, had a faint glimmer of anticipation. (ooc: Weak post is weak Sorry >.< )

Astrid's voice snapped Hiccup from his current focus of mocking Sinbad and caused him to look in her direction. He was glad that she was there. After all, having at least one familiar face was better than being in a strange place all on his own. He gave a little nod in response to her question. "I'm pretty sure this is the place. At least, that's what he said." Hiccup replied as he motioned to Sinbad. His gaze wandered to Astrid's axe and he found himself smiling a little at the sight of it. Typical of Astrid, she had brought her favorite weapon. He almost wished he had something like that. All he had to his name was a little dagger hidden safely on his person.
"Now Sinbad here doesn't want to train us. He thought we'd be dealing with these simu... sima... weird things." Hiccup continued. He still didn't get what simulations were. He was hoping that someone would offer some sort of explanation on them, but it was doubtful at that moment in time. All Hiccup really wanted was for the training to start. He desperately needed some better way of defending himself than some little dagger.

"Sinbad is just scared to train us." Wilbur said coming up with the others. His brown eyes narrowed in challenge. "He thinks that if he trains us, then we might be better than him." the boy shrugged his shoulders. "It might come off as a point that we could be better than him."
Sinbad glared at Tecna before coming over to the other kids. "I don't think you could ever be better at this job than me Kid. You just would screw everything up."

Ouch.
Being told they would screw things up hurt just as badly as being told he was useless. Hiccup hated being told things like that. It just reminded him how useless he had been before everything with Toothless had happened. He did his best to shake that comment off, though, and put on a more serious expression. Hiccup wanted to prove he wasn't useless, and dammit he was going to prove that much. He didn't care what he had to do to prove it.
"Look, if you don't want us screwing up then you're going to have to put up with us long enough to teach us something." Hiccup said. He folded his arms across his chest and let his eyes narrow a little. Hiccup wouldn't be going anywhere until some kind of training happened. "Or does the agency not want to teach new recruits anything?" he asked.

"If you are the best there is then prove it by teaching us." Wilbur said crossing his arms over his chest. "I mean that way we won't screw up and you can go on and do whatever it is you do." the teenager replied to Sinbad, his tone almost challenging. "Unless you are scared."
Sinbad tensed and felt a twitch of irritation in his head. "I am not scared to teach a bunch of scrawny teenagers, i just don't want to do it all by myself." he replied. "Unless you can create five of me then there's no way i am teaching you."
Wilbur gave Hiccup a look of raised eyebrow. "I thought the great Sinbad wans't scared of anything. Especially kids. I guess i was wrong."

"Ooooooh." Hiccup gave a slow nod and appeared rather unimpressed by Sinbad's lack of desire to teach them. Typical manly man. Too caught up in his manliness to take time out of it to offer training sessions to the younger members of the organization. "I see how it is. You just can't handle our raw potential." Hiccup said. Yes, that had to be it. That had to be why he was so unwilling to teach them. He raised his eyebrows up and down in a cocky manner and turned his attention back to Astrid and Wilbur.
"I knew he couldn't handle our raw Vikingness and your... whatever it is you have. Top dog Sinbad is too scared to handle us." Hiccup laughed. How long he would maintain such a cocky air was difficult to tell, especially when he took into consideration the 'scrawny' remark. Looking over himself, Astrid, And Wilbur, it was plain to see that he was the scrawniest of the teens present.
"Oh, give it a rest Sinbad." another voice said. Maka had decided to enter the training room as well. She had been looking to improve her skills, and seeing the new recruits made her feel more at home. She was pleased to see that it wasn't just a crop of overly confident boys looking to become agents. "If you need a hand with them, I'll help out." Maka said.

Sinbad rolled his eyes. "Oh sure, that's the real reason why i don't want to teach you anything." he said with a scoff. "it couldn't be because you are nothing but kids." he said. "You shouldn't even be here let alone on misisons that only real agents could handle."
Wilbur raised an eyebrow again. "uh-huh, and you are one of those agents?" he asked. "If you think you are a real agent then you wouldn't have had a problem teaching us anything right?"
Crap. The kids were better than he thought. "Fine, but since there are so many of you here, i am not training all of you. Maybe one at a time."

Astrid smirked, as both Hiccup and this raven haired kid defended their purpose. The blonde though, was surprised at Hiccup's cocky resolution to continue harassing the man. He was actually quite confident. Maybe it had been good to send Hiccup away, he now had a new purpose. Subtly stubborn, Hiccup was defending his purpose. Astrid's smile grew a bit wider. "One at a time? That's ok... It's ok even for a man to be afraid. I mean, if you don't think you can handle us teens. Especially a girl." She swung her axe to rest on her shoulder, and moved to stand closer beside Hiccup and the other teen.
Astrid's eyes turned to the new voice, a girl this time. She dipped her head in a small greeting, she didn't seem to be the only female who could fight. "He might need some help, I don't think he can handle it." Her eyes turned to look over Sinbad with a 'sad' shake of her head. "Raw vikingness is way to much." she smiled, head turning to Hiccup as she used his own words. She rolled her eyes at him, whether it was Sinbad's cockiness or his own. Still smiling though, she turned back to both Maka and Sinbad.
