Taiga had to stop an eyeroll. She didn't care about looks, it was more about competance. Urasala didn't strike her as much of an assassin. Then again, it wasn't her place to make this team better, just to keep an eye on them. She would be lying if she didn't at least admit to herself that she hated it here. The short girl tried not to look impressed with anything happening. Though Azula's fire bending did strike her as something note worthy, not to mention the Tak girl was a threat as well.
"Lady Eris," she said, "Though I trust your desisions, shouldn't there be more of a test of skill? Such as I don't know, killing?"
Why was she sugesting this. Adjusting her sword she shrugged lightly, "Your choice is law, m'lady."

"Bravo. Bravo, I say. Bravo."
There was a slow clap that sounded as if someone was putting their hand against metal followed by what sounded like one footstep and one metal thing clunking against the floor. This was enough to get Soul's attention. The white-haired boy was the first to look over in another newcomer's direction, only to be shocked by what he saw. This newcomer, to put it bluntly, looked as if he had seen better days. There was nary a single hair on his body and his nose was gone. His right hand and eye were gone as well, replaced by a hook and the other covered by an eye patch, and his left leg had been replaced by a prosthetic made of metal. This was the man that had been clapping. This was the man that had decided to arrive just a bit late to the party. Or maybe, he was the man that had silently been observing Azula's firebending from a safe distance to see what she was capable of. Needless to say, this man was impressed.
"I must say, I have never seen anything like that display before in my life. Truly magnificent." Alvin stated as he approached the group. Soon enough Alvin thought he had reached a decent length of closeness to the group, and so he came to a stop and let his hand and hook fall to his sides. "It appears as though we have some truly interesting assassins in this room. Magnificent if I do say so myself." Alvin stated again, giving off that charming smile of his that had so easily charmed the Hairy Hooligan tribe the very first time he had met them. He didn't expect the other assassins to know who he was. This was only his first appearance, after all.

Ursula made a face at the man. She didn't like him but that didn't mean she couldn't work with him. "and just who are you?!" she asked, her tone cold but with a hint of being very snotty. Riven rolled his eyes at his immature sister. However, that didn't stop Ursula, she wanted to know more and more about the newcomers.

Azula smirked, she was in. To be honest she was expecting a duel of some sort, but perhaps an agni kai was a bit too much for an initiation. She caught Icy's glare and matche it with her own golden scowl. Eris and Maleficent were the only oppinions that mattered in the slightest, but the attention given to her by the others didn't hurt her ego either.
However when Alvin stepped onto the scene she was a little taken aback by his appearance, he looked like he had gone through hell and back to be honest. He looked worse than someone she had just burnt and thrown off her ship. However, he seemed to like the littler performance she had put on, so he couldn't be all bad. Azula learned long ago that appearances didn't matter in a warrior. And while she prided herself on her good looks, it didn't mean everyone did. "Thank you, while I am skilled in many other things, firebending is the thing I pride myself on the most."

Alvin's one good eye narrowed a tiny bit at Ursula's question, but not for very long. He did realize they wouldn't know who he was. He had just waltzed in unannounced and acted like it was completely normal. While it was, that didn't mean it would make him friends right away. He was more impressed with how they restrained themselves from remarking upon his appearance. The less he had to explain about the hell he had gone through, the better off he would be. Alvin took the tip of his cloak in his good hand for a moment and made a charismatic bow of greeting. "I, my good lady, am Alvin the Treacherous." Alvin greeted.
Alvin the Treacherous? Can we really trust a guy with a name like that? Soul wondered silently.
"I have come to offer my services to this fine group of assassins. I trust that is all right." Alvin stated as he resumed his normal standing position. Surely these assassins weren't so shallow that they would deny his request. In a state of hell or not, Alvin was skilled with a sword. He was cunning and, if he did say so himself, brilliant. All skills that would come in handy as an assassin, he was sure. It would also allow him to get one step closer to achieving his goal of eliminating Hiccup. That part remained unspoken, though, as did the rest of his skills. He would wait to see how the rest of the assassins present would react to him.

Azula had to raise an eyebrow as he introduced himself. The question Soul had asked himself was what she was wondering as well. Could he be trusted? They banished and killed traitors in the Firenation, apperantly here they were allowed to walz right in and be assassins. She caught the look Urusla sent him, though. She seemed to be very suspicious of the man, or just be outright put off by how he looked. Azula was pretty suspicious of everyone, so a new person didn't change that. She couldn't trust anyone but herself, but nobody else had to know that. Then it'd give them reason to suspect her.
"Azula." She said with a short nod in his direction. One thing was for sure, the assassins had one hell of a welcome wagon.
(sucky post is sucky, I've lost almost all of my muse for Azula XD)

At Taiga's words, a cruel smile lit Eris's lips, her feline eyes scanned the group of assassins, and she raised her arms slightly. "Anyone want to volunteer being killed? Anyone wish to be burned by the fire bender?" Her brow cocked and she turned away from Taiga. "Our numbers are to low to get in grand fights with one another, or even others.... for now." The smile flickered to her lips again, and was gone. Her floating body moving over to the other newcomer. Alvin the treacherous. Her mind echoed the same thoughts as the others, but being Eris, she decided to voice herself.
"Alvin the Treacherous... hmm...." She looked over his gruesome framework. "With a name like that, why do I get the feeling your not one to be relied on? Better yet, how won't you be a liability?" She gestured to all of him. She was clearly unimpressed by his... well admittedly un-handsome form. She hated being so nice to everyone here, but hey if it's what built her agency, just enough to take down those opposing her, she'd have to deal with this thing called 'trust' in their abilities. She'd have to white until their numbers to increase until the real fun began.
(Ooc: Crap post is crap, my muse has sort of... 'poofed' too ): )

That was unsurprising. With his title, it was obvious he would have to gain their trust. He had once told Hiccup to never trust a Treacherous, after all. However, Alvin appeared unfazed for the time being. He met Eris' gaze with a somewhat unreadable expression, seeming to consider her question, and he shrugged after a moment. "I will admit that it would be unwise to blindly put your trust in me. After all, I did just waltz in unannounced with nothing to show for my skills." Alvin began. He proceeded to raise his single hand and put it to his hook, carefully unscrewing it and tucking it into his cloak pocket before drawing the sword hanging at his side and placing it where the hook had once been.
"However, I will say this. I am one of the more skilled swordsmen in the Viking archipelago. You'd not choose wrong to have me on your side." Alvin stated as he finished screwing the sword in place. He offered an arrogant smile, almost as if he was challenging those present to meet him in battle, and waved his hand dismissively. "If you need me to prove my worth here and now, I shall. But do not underestimate a Treacherous." he said.
Soul raised an eyebrow and watched as Alvin made his speech. He had to admit that his unpleasant appearing man did make a good point. If he was good with a sword, that must mean he knew what he was doing. The scythe boy had his reasons for not trusting Alvin, namely because it didn't seem like a good idea to trust someone with that particular title, but the man seemed willing to prove his worth. "Why don't we give him a shot? See what he can do with that fancy sword." Soul suggested.

Riven looked at Alvin for a moment. If this guy could handle a sword maybe there was soemthing worth a challenge here. "Yes, please impress us with your magnificent skills." he said with a mocking tone. If Eris wanted proof from him as well, then by all means maybe a sword fight was what h needed until then he would have to wait until he was chosen to prove himself

Stormy walked in spotting Icy and Darcy in the crowd, along with Riven which surprised her. What was that hero wannabe doing here? Perhaps Icy and Darcy could fill her in on what was going on here. She turned to see Riven was taunting a Viking warrior. This could be amusing. She hoped Riven would lose. But then again maybe this other guy was worse than Riven. She walked up to Eris, deciding to watch the match from afar.
"I'm Stormy. I'd like to join your agency." said Stormy.

The mocking tone in Riven's voice was too obvious to ignore. With a snarl, Alvin turned the Stormblade in the redhead's direction and glared at him with his good eye. "You dare to challenge my abilities?" he snarled. One did not just mock a man that had been through hell and come back alive. He'd been swallowed by a Strangulator. He'd been fed to the Sharkworms. He'd been eaten by a Fire-Dragon. A survivor like Alvin was not one to mess with, especially when he appeared to have the most experience with swords out of anyone in the room. With Grimbeard's Stormblade at his disposal, it was fair to say that Alvin had more than a lion's share of power. Nothing could outmatch the sword of Grimbeard the Ghastly in battle... except maybe Hiccup's Endeavor. But Hiccup apparently lacked sword skills in this universe or whatever it was Alvin had ended up in after escaping the Fire-Dragon.
A cruel smirk formed on Alvin's face. Fine. If Riven wanted to challenge him, he wouldn't stop him. "If that's how you're going to be, then go right ahead. Fight me." Alvin challenged. There must have been some swords lying around for the redhead to use. Alvin wouldn't dare give up without proving that a Treacherous was a swordsman to take seriously. Regardless of the fact that he had once been the leader of the Outcast tribe, Alvin was willing to put aside his desire to look out only for himself to further his goal of killing Hiccup. To do that he would need to stay on the good side of the assassins.
"Be warned, though, boy. I won't go easy on you just because we may end up being allies." Alvin said. He wasn't one to go easy on those who challenged him. After all, he had mercilessly attacked Hiccup time and time again. It was what he did, and what any good assassin should have done.

Riven bit back the usual "i wouldn't consider you any of my allies since you are a bunch of cold-blood murderers." as much as he wanted to say it. At Alvin's remark, he stood up and drew his phantonblade, the red blade shimmered under the lights. "If you want to challenge me then fine, i could use a warm up." he replied. A cold smirk on his face appeared. "I hate it when people go easy on me, so bring it on."

"As you wish."
With that, Alvin made his first move. He wasn't too out of practice, fortunately, so it felt natural to aim a fierce blow in Riven's direction. The other assassins present didn't seem to matter anymore. Alvin was focused on the fight at hand, imagining that if he were to succeed in winning that he would gain Eris' trust and earn his place among them. That would put him one step closer toward his goal. That was all that really mattered to Alvin at that moment in time. He would be loony to expect his first hit to actually hit Riven. But if it did, more power to him. Alvin just hoped his opponent would put up a somewhat decent fight.

Riven was not a bit surprised at the fact that he went right into fighting, that was fine with him. All action was better than just talking. With the same amount of force as his opponent, Riven struck out his blade as well, in attempt to block it. No one else mattered. The assassins, they were gone now. No distractions were needed in this battle. Just him and his opponent.
That was all he needed

The Stormblade clashed against Riven's sword and it seemed as though it was a struggle of power at that point. Alvin wasn't going to give up that easily, though. He simply wouldn't give Riven the satisfaction of beating him. Not when he had bested others before. Alvin jerked the Stormblade back so that it wasn't clattering against Riven's weapon and lunged forward in an attempt to slash the redhead before him. That would surely catch him off guard. If the attack did hit, it should have proven that he was not to be messed with. Alvin wouldn't kill Riven, but wounding wasn't out of the question.
Come on. Show me what you've got, boy.
