(ooc: December 5. Open to all clients that aren't in To Find Someone, and any agents that want to jump in can as well. Another character development thread.)
For once, Crona wasn't afraid to admit that he was rather calm. He hadn't been attacked in a while despite not having someone to protect him just yet, and for the most part nothing seemed to be going wrong that day. He was rather cheerful at that moment in time, too. The pink-haired boy felt confident that things would be okay for once. So, there he was walking through the townsquare with a bag tucked between his arms and a very small smile on his face. He'd just been doing a bit of shopping, looking for potential books to read, and had purchased one he thought looked rather interesting. So, Crona was getting ready to continue shopping. Maybe things were going to be okay after all.
...Then it appeared to get just a bit more crowded than he liked. "Oh no..." Crona squeaked. He veered away from the crowd, still keeping his bag tucked between his arms, and went off to a part of the square that was less crowded. Leave it to Crona to find himself in an awkward situation. How was he meant to do more shopping if a crowd was in the way he wanted to go? Crona just sighed. Maybe it'd be better if he stayed where he was. This way, he could at least stop to talk to someone if they wanted to do so.

Giselle had decided to take her time shopping, it was a nice day out and so far no one had made any moves on clients or on the agency itself, so Naveen was letting the rest of them take it easy. What she needed, was now hanging by her shoulders. However, her blue eyes softened a bit as she saw a boy trying to make his way through the crowd.
"Excuse me, excuse me." she pushed through the crowd to the boy. "Are you okay?"

"Eep!"
Well, that was one way to get Crona's attention. He turned around quickly so that he could face Giselle, almost losing the grip on his bag in the process, and quickly tried to determine if the situation was still okay. Seeing that Giselle appeared friendly, and that she had spoken with a soft tone quite like Miss Marie's, Crona relaxed visibly. Not his mother trying to kill him. Just someone asking if he was okay. Crona offered a very meek nod in response. "I... I'm okay. Just... just trying to get through the crowd. It's harder than it looks." Crona replied softly. Nervous pink-haired boy was nervous. Too timid to force his way through the crowd, he was trapped waiting to move on for the time being.

(ooc: you know since Silver is not around, Giselle could be Crona's protector)
"Oh dear, that's terrible." she said. "Well, i am sure i can help you with getting through this crowd." Offering her hand to Crona, Giselle would not mind if he did not take it. He was timid but seemed to be a very nice. At least from what she could tell. "I have had my share of crowds, they are not as fun as i thought at first."
Looking around at the crowd, she frowned. It was going to be difficult to get through the crowd but the princess was sure she could do it

(ooc: That would be amazing. Let's do it!) "Th-thank you. I... I would appreciate that." Crona said. He had to admit that he was surprised Ragnarok hadn't decided to appear to ruin the moment. Maybe his partner was just tired for the time being. Oh, how Crona hoped that was the case. He didn't want his partner to come out and freak this nice woman out. Shaking away that horrid thought, Crona offered a friendly sort of smile at last to show he really did appreciate Giselle's kind offer. He felt safe enough to go with her, at the very least. Safe enough to trust her to not be some assassin working for his mother to try and kill him. That wasn't the case at all, he was sure. This woman was far too nice to trick him like that. "I... I'm Crona, by the way." he decided to introduce himself. What harm would there be in introducing himself? He was sure his name wasn't all that significant to anyone. Unless they were an agent or something. He still hadn't heard about about getting someone to offer him protection, and frankly it was beginning to worry him.

Giselle smiled at him. "I'm Giselle, i work for Animation HQ, an agency of a sort. It's my job to help to others." she replied, taking his hand. She glanced at the crowd before opening her mouth. "Excuse me, could you please make some room for us. I am in a hurry." she said. Several people, smiled and moved out of the way for her to walk.
"See, its easy." she replied. Though being naturally nice was in her job.

Crona blushed vibrantly as she took hold of his hand and led him through the crowd. Why couldn't things have been this easy when he was on his own? It was more than a little infuriating, but Crona didn't show any signs of being annoyed. Instead he just looked small and pitiful about the whole thing. "E-Easy for you to say. I... I'm not really good at this sort of thing." Crona explained. Even with the help Maka and the others had given him, he still wasn't all that great at standing up for himself or being assertive. So, he was still rather pitiful. It was then that he let Giselle's introduction sink in. She had mentioned an agency. Animation HQ, to be precise. Dark blue eyes lit up with realization. She worked for the very agency he had inquired into looking for protection!
"Wait... you said you work for Animation HQ... right?" Crona asked. He hoped she could help. He really hoped she could. He didn't want to go through the rest of his life fearing everything again. "M-Maybe you can help me. You see... I... I..."
"Oh, spit it out already, Crona!"
And there was Ragnarok. He appeared right on schedule from Crona's back and gave his meister a sort of unimpressed look. He hated it when Crona was so pitiful. Disregarding the need for him to introduce himself, Ragnarok decided to address the matter himself. "He's too much of a ninny to outright say it. We inquired at the Animation HQ seeking help not that long ago." Ragnarok explained. "His mom's trying to kill him." he added bluntly.

Calm blue eyes became wide. "Oh how dreadful." she said. "Your own mother! She sounds like a really mean witch." turning to Crona, she gave him a warm smile. "Don't worry, I am sure that i can protect you. My boss is very nice and he would never turn down someone in trouble. So i am not worried that he will let me protect you."
Her warm smile grew as she tried to consult the boy, "So, where do you live?""

"Funny you should mention it. Medusa actually is a witch." Ragnarok said. He had to admit that he was intrigued by the fact that the redhead hadn't appeared freaked out by his sudden appearance. Usually people would ask... questions and stuff about him! Maybe it was better that she didn't ask, though. The less Crona had to explain, the better off he and Ragnarok would be. The little demon sword raised a nonexistent eyebrow when Giselle mentioned that she wouldn't mind protecting them. That was a first. Ragnarok would have thought most of the agents would be too concerned by the fact that Crona was such a wimp to want to protect him.
Crona had stopped walking and just stared blankly ahead. She... she was willing to protect him. He didn't know whether she was being serious or not, but the lack of a sarcastic tone hinted toward the positive rather than the negative. Crona was tempted to ask if she really was being sincere, but the smile reassured him. Giselle was willing to be his protector. He couldn't feel more relieved even if someone paid him. Returning to the discussion at hand, Crona shrugged his shoulders. "I don't live all that far away. It's just about five minutes away from where we are right now." Crona replied.
Yes, the little house Crona had found was chosen purposefully. The fact that it was so close to the townsquare meant that less trouble would be had if he had to purchase things on his own. It also made it less likely that he would be ambushed on a long walk home.

Giselle smiled at him. "Well that's good to know." she said. "If you are closer to town, it is more unlikely that someone would try to hurt you." the princess pushed a strand of hair out of her face before trying to think. This child's mother was a witch? What kind of woman would want to kill their own child? It gave her chills just thinking about it. "Has your mother always been like that?"

"Y-Yes... actually." Crona said softly. Medusa had been cruel to him right from the beginning. Everything had been about furthering her own goals. Not a very loving relationship between mother and son. "She's the reason Ragnarok and I are like this. But... that's a long story." he explained. Ragnarok looked as though he was silently telling Crona not to go into it. They didn't have all the time in the world to explain their story, after all. "But... yes. Medusa isn't what you would call a very nice person." Crona said.
"Not a very nice person? Try just plain cruel." Ragnarok said. "This ain't the first time she's tried to kill us. She almost succeeded in killing us months ago all because wimpy here had to be a hero and protect his best friend." he stated sharply. He knew Crona viewed Maka as his best friend. In the demon sword's opinion, protecting Maka hadn't been worth it. The blonde haired, green-eyed girl hadn't even so much as shown her face now that Crona was in danger again. Where was she, anyway? "A lot of good that did us. We haven't even seen her since we found ourselves targeted by Medusa again." he said.

"Goodness, that's horrible!" blue eyes saddened. "Don't worry though, i'm going to protect you, my agency is filled with good agents that treat ordinary people like family. Even if they aren't their own cilent, we watch out for one another." she said. "I'll watch out for you Crona, I promise."
Sure, she wasn't the strongest or smartest agent but that wouldn't stop her from protecting an innocent person

Piper walked around townsquare carrying some shopping bags. She'd gotten potion ingredients and some food as well. She planned to cook for the agency that night. This would be a good test run for the restaraunt she hoped to open one day. She'd only cooked for her family and a few friends so this would go very well. She saw Giselle talking with a couple people. She walked by hearing the end of their conversation. She paused turning to the group.
"Hello. I'm Piper. I just recently joined Animation HQ. If someone's targeting you are you sure it's safe to be standing here out in the open? They could try something and vanish into the crowd." said Piper.

Having not expected anyone else to join their conversation, even casually, Crona was more than a little freaked out when Piper randomly inserted herself into the conversation. Much to Ragnarok's undoubted annoyance, Crona slipped behind Giselle and cowered behind her for the fear of the unknown person being someone dangerous. "I'm not here. I'm not here... I'm not here..." pitiful, frightened boy was pitiful and freaked out.
Ragnarok, on the other hand, was not amused by these shenanigans. The little demon sword rolled his eyes and sent an unamused glance in Piper's direction. Whoever she was, she certainly knew how to make Crona retreat into his shell. "Nice going. He was doing so well until you decided to freak him out." Ragnarok deadpanned.

"What a great start. I scared a client we're supposed to protect." thought Piper.
She felt really bad for startling him. The man standing next to him and Giselle seemed to be really annoyed she had scared him. The boy must be really on edge from whoever was targeting him and she wasn't helping by startling him. Maybe she should just go.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you or interrupt your conversation. I'll just go and leave you guys alone." said Piper.
She started to walk away.
