Name: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III
Age: 15
Alias: None for the moment, but I'm sure Wilbur will give him one.
Film/Televsion: How To Train Your Dragon.
spieces: Human
weight: 100 pounds
height: 5'1"
Appearance: Hiccup is a scrawny teenager with a twiggy build to him, unlike the rest of the Vikings in his village who are much buffer and stronger than him. He has short, scruffy red hair and bright green eyes, and his face is speckled all over with freckles. Typically Hiccup wears a green long sleeved shirt, brown pants, a brown fur vest of some sort, and brown boots. However, he only wears a boot on his right foot. His left leg has been replaced by a makeshift prosthetic leg made from scraps of metal. When riding on Toothless during their flights, Hiccup wears a leather harness of his own that can be hooked to Toothless'. It is also capable of being removed from Toothless' harness in case of dangerous situations.
Personality: Unlike the other Vikings from his village, Hiccup is much more sophisticated and more prone to thinking things through instead of just charging in to situations. He is blunt and rather sarcastic, but at the same time he possesses a good heart. Hiccup is also a bit cowardly and not meant to be a killer, as he demonstrated by not killing Toothless when he had the chance. He is also loyal to those close to him, particularly Toothless.

History: History: Hiccup was considered the black sheep of his village for quite some time. He just didn’t fit in and always seemed to be causing more trouble than he was worth as opposed to helping fight the war against dragons. Hiccup wanted to prove he could fight dragons just like the rest of the Vikings, but his father, Stoick, never allowed him to do so.
Hiccup was given a chance one night when he actually knocked a Night Fury out of the sky during a raid. However, that quickly turned to something not so good as Hiccup wound up in trouble with a Nightmare and caused part of the village to be destroyed along with the dragons stealing their sheep. Hiccup snuck away after that, eager to find and kill the Night Fury he had brought down. However, when he had the chance to do so he instead allowed the dragon to live and freed him from his snare. Hiccup realized he couldn’t kill dragons at that point. However, Stoick put him in dragon training classes with the rest of the kids.
He was continually viewed as the weakest link in the class, but still attended the classes and tried to ask about Night Furies when he realized the Vikings literally knew nothing about the dragons. Every day after classes, Hiccup would venture off into the forest where he had seen the Night Fury trying to fly away and discovered that the tail of the dragon had been damaged so he couldn’t fly properly. Hiccup attempted to befriend the dragon, and slowly but surely he did so, eventually naming him Toothless because he discovered the Night Fury possessed retractable teeth. He eventually crafted a makeshift tail part for Toothless and began to help the dragon to fly again after constructing a harness for the Night Fury to wear.
Through the process of befriending Toothless, Hiccup learned more about dragons and soon became the most popular Viking in the village for his ‘way with dragons’. Stoick thought he had been turned into a real dragon fighter, but that wasn’t the case. One day, after defeating Astrid in a final assessment of sorts, Astrid discovered Toothless. However, after being taken on a flight on Toothless she decided she wouldn’t tell anyone about him. The two, along with Toothless, accidentally discovered the dragons nest where it was revealed that the reason they were stealing food was so they could feed a massive dragon that would eat the others if not given enough food. Hiccup decided to not tell the other Vikings about the nest, instead deciding to reveal the truth about his way of handling dragons.
However, it was for naught. The next day during his final exam, Stoick caused the Nightmare Hiccup was meant to fight to lash out at the teen and potentially could have gotten him killed. However, Toothless came to the rescue. Against Hiccup’s pleas, the Vikings captured Toothless and it was revealed that Hiccup had befriended the Night Fury. After accidentally telling Stoick that they needed Toothless to find the dragon’s nest, the adult Vikings took off for the nest, not realizing what they were up against. Hiccup teamed up with the other kids, rallied together by Astrid, and decided they needed to go after the others on their own dragon mounts. They eventually caught up with the adult Vikings, but found they had arrived too late as the fight with the massive dragon controlling the other dragons had begun.
Hiccup tried to free Toothless from the flaming boat he was trapped on, but almost drowned when the boat fell apart. Stoick saved Hiccup and freed Toothless, deciding to give them both a chance to defeat the massive dragon. In the end, they succeeded in downing the massive dragon but Toothless’ makeshift tail fin had been burned and the pair were struck by the other dragon’s tail as it was downed. Hiccup was knocked unconscious and the other Vikings thought he had died, but Toothless had saved him. As a result of fighting the other dragon, Hiccup lost his left leg. However, he was viewed as a hero for saving the village along with Toothless. The Vikings and dragons lived in harmony, and Hiccup and Toothless were allowed to be friends. Things were good for the pair after that.
At least, for a while things were peaceful. Soon word of the assassins and what they intended on doing came to Berk, and it was decided that Hiccup should be sent as an agent to help put an end to the assassins' dastardly ways. Hey, if Hiccup could bring about an end to the dragon that had caused so many problems for Berk and the other dragons then surely he would be a good agent. However, Hiccup was the last one to be informed of this plan. Very much against his wishes, he was sent to be trained as an agent. Without Toothless. He wants to help, but survival is his top priority along with reuniting with Toothless.
Rank: Agent in training.
Allies: Toothless and Astrid. Otherwise, left for the roleplay.
Enemies: Left for the roleplay.
Partner: None for the moment, but I'd love for him to be paired up with someone. Specifically Toothless.
Plans: To not die. CX
Sample Post: "So... uh, what exactly is the point of this again?" Hiccup asked, casting another wary glance at the rack of weapons before him before returning his gaze to his instructor. He'd only been an agent in training for a couple of days, and already they were expecting him to use weapons he had never seen before? He could barely use a sword and hammer! How did they expect him to use the weapons before him?
"Weapons training, kid. You're going to have to get used to using these sooner or later, so we might as well start you off now." his instructor replied. Hiccup just groaned. They weren't going to drop this, were they? He was going to be stuck there until he learned to use the dang things, wasn't he? Hiccup folded his arms across his chest, shifting his weight to his right side so all of it wasn't concentrated on his prosthetic leg.
"Do I at least get a shield?" Hiccup asked. The instructor gave him a sort of look that seemed to be saying 'What kind of place do you think this is, Viking boy?', causing Hiccup to just sigh in response. "Right. I guess that was a bit of a stupid question." he grumbled.
Other: I'd love for someone to take Toothless. If we do get him, I want him to be Hiccup's partner.
